Gov. Reeves signs bills sending over $100M to hospitals, creating grant program for medical professionals

Governor Tate Reeves signed three bills into Monday that will financial aid to hospitals and create easier paths for entities to hire medical professionals.

Reeves signed House Bill 271 and Senate Bill 2372, which establishes the Mississippi Hospital Sustainability Grant Program and invests over $103 million into the program. In addition, Reeves gave his approval of Senate Bill 2371, creating multiple to expand programs for healthcare professionals across the state.
