Golden Triangle Regional Homeless Coalition opens warming shelter

SUMMARY: The Golden Triangle Regional Homeless Coalition is providing a temporary warming shelter on November 28 and November 29 for anyone who needs a warm place to stay due to freezing temperatures. The shelter will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. at 1501 Martin Luther King Jr Dr in Columbus. Volunteers are crucial to keeping the shelter open, and they will assist with providing blankets, cots, , and food. People who are not homeless but lack adequate heat in they homes are also welcome.
