Deadline to get gifts is December 13
SUMMARY: The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program in Tupelo, Mississippi is providing Christmas gifts for kids in needy families. Every Walmart and the Mall at Barnes Crossing have Angel Trees with wish lists of children in need. Community members can take a tag from the tree, purchase items, and return them for distribution. The program aims to make a positive impact in children's lives, as Captain LeAnna Thomas, a former Angel Tree recipient, knows firsthand. The deadline for turning in Angel Tree gifts is December 13th, and they can be dropped off at the Mall at Barnes Crossing or the Salvation Army's Carnation Street location in Tupelo.
