Gluckstadt opposes Madison’s annexation efforts

SUMMARY: The Gluckstadt Board of Aldermen in Mississippi has voted unanimously to oppose the of 's annexation efforts. Gluckstadt's , Walter Morrison, stated that the annexation would hinder the town's growth to the south and that they are seeking to annex much of the same area being targeted by Madison. The Board adopted an ordinance of annexation on July 11, stating that their actions are in the best interest of Gluckstadt and its citizens.
