Former NFL player’s family files lawsuit

SUMMARY: The of former NFL player Glenn Foster, Jr. has filed a wrongful against the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, that Foster was assaulted and denied medical treatment while in their custody. Foster was after a speeding violation and later found unresponsive in the back of a cruiser when it arrived at a medical facility two days later. An independent autopsy suggested that Foster did not die of natural causes. Attorney Ben Crump is leading the federal lawsuit on behalf of Foster's wife. The case is currently pending in federal court in Birmingham.
