SUMMARY: Temperatures in Columbus, Mississippi will be cooler for the second half of the week after evening showers and storms clear out on Tuesday. Overnight lows will drop into the 40s, with mild temperatures in the middle to upper 60s during the day. The weekend will start off quiet on Saturday but clouds will increase on Sunday ahead of the next system early next week. High temperatures will rise from the middle 60s on Saturday to the middle 70s on Sunday. Overall, the week ahead will be mostly clear with passing clouds and colder mornings with lows in the middle to upper 30s.

SHS seniors take final stroll through elementary school halls

SUMMARY: The senior class at Starkville High School participated in an annual “Senior Walk” where they visited all schools in the district to see former teachers and receive well wishes from current students. They were cheered on by students as they walked through the halls, taking pictures along the way. This stop was at Henderson Ward Stewart, where students in grades two to four showed their support.
