Plans for proposed Lake Caroline gas station withdrawn

SUMMARY: The developer of a proposed gas station near Lake Caroline in County has withdrawn plans, allowing the county to decide on the zoning. Lake Caroline oppose the gas station, citing concerns about increased traffic. A meeting to discuss the future of the location has been for May 13 at The Mermaid Café. Residents are frustrated with the proposed Stribling Market gas station at the entrance of Lake Caroline on Stribling Road. Mark Jordan from Lake Caroline, Inc. called for the meeting to address residents' concerns and share his vision for the property.
