'Freedom Summer' returning to Hattiesburg

SUMMARY: The prayer breakfast and awards program starts at 7:30 AM on Monday. Southern Miss will soon be hosting a new exhibit of works by famed photographer Herbert Randall. The exhibit will showcase more than 100 photos by Randall, who is noted for his work with Freedom Summer in Hattiesburg in 1964. The exhibit will be on display from January 22nd through February 5th. Admission to the exhibit is free and hours for the museum are available. The exhibit is important not only for its national impact but also because it captures local experiences very well.
