MDOT receives State Agency Partnership Award from Keep America Beautiful

The () and Keep Mississippi Beautiful were awarded a 2022 Agency Partnership Award during the Keep America Beautiful National Conference.

State Departments of Transportation, Environmental Quality, and other state agencies across the nation gathered for the three-day held in Washington, D.C., on February 20-23.

MDOT was one of only 16 state agencies to be honored with the award for the state's work in its Bash partnership with Keep Mississippi Beautiful.

The of annual clean-up make a large impact statewide by not only drawing a large number of volunteers but also removing a large amount of litter and debris from state highways.

Capitol police arrest man for Trustmark Bank robbery
