2nd suspect arrested in shooting death of Jackson State student
SUMMARY: A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of a Jackson State University student. Jamison Kelly, Jr. was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder. The first suspect, Joshua Brown, appeared in court and was charged with murder and illegal possession of a firearm on school property. The shooting occurred at the University Pointe Apartment Complex on campus. The father of the victim said that his son was trying to break up a fight when he was killed. A preliminary hearing date for Brown has not yet been set.
