Two Copiah County crashes injure seven people

SUMMARY: Two separate crashes in Copiah County, Mississippi on July 23rd resulted in seven people being sent to the hospital. The first crash occurred on Interstate 55 near Gallman when a Honda Accord experienced a tire malfunction, causing the driver to lose control and overturn. There were two adults and four in the car, all of whom were taken to the for observation. The second crash occurred on Highway 27, south of Georgetown, when a 2018 Infiniti sedan collided with a tree. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The is investigating both accidents.
