Tupelo adds another historical marker to help tell story of Elvis

SUMMARY: A new historical marker has been unveiled in , Mississippi in front of the former office of Dr. William Robert Hunt, who delivered Elvis and his twin brother Jesse Garon on January 8, 1935. The marker adds to the ambiance of Elvis in his hometown and is expected to attract more tourists and customers to the area. In celebration, fans sang Happy Birthday to Elvis at his birthplace and witnessed the unveiling of a new Tupelo-themed shirt. The birthplace attracts about 60,000 visitors per year and will have a big celebration on what would have been Elvis' 90th birthday next year.
