Starkville falls to Oak Grove in battle for 7A state title game
SUMMARY: The MHSAA hosted its first ever 7A State Championship Game, with Oak Grove winning their first title. Despite Starkville's effort to win back-to-back titles, they fell short in a thrilling game. Starkville was defeated by Oak Grove on Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Warriors win the first ever 7A high school state championship 33 to 28.

Ten Years Later: Winston County Hospital rebuilt following 2014 deadly tornado
SUMMARY: Ten years ago, an EF4 tornado hit Louisville, killing ten people and devastating the community. The Winston County Hospital was badly damaged, along with many homes and businesses. Dr. Michael Ard reflects on the night of the tornado and the community's resilience in rebuilding. The tornado was nearly a mile wide with winds up to 185 mph, causing major destruction. Despite the challenges, the hospital reopened in 2017 with new, modern facilities. The community came together to rebuild, showing strength and perseverance. Rural healthcare in Louisville was saved, thanks to the hard work and dedication of many individuals.
