It'll take a few months to repair tornado damage in New Albany
SUMMARY: Several government buildings in New Albany were severely damaged by a tornado on Friday morning, including the EMA, Board of Supervisors, chancery clerk, New Albany Light Gas and Water, and the police department. The rebuilding process is expected to take 2 to 3 months, with the main issue being water damage. Employees are still expected to come to work, with plans in place to set up temporary offices while the buildings are being remodeled. The next step in the process is to follow the state bidding process. The community is coming together to support the rebuilding efforts.

Voters to decide on Lamar County school bond
