The writer, who has extensively eaten in many of America's top restaurant cities, considers themselves fortunate to have grown up near New Orleans. Over the past six decades, they have eaten more than 120 meals in New Orleans restaurants annually and keep a journal of their visits. They also receive many restaurant recommendations requests for New Orleans and have compiled a list of their favorite spots for breakfast, brunch, dinner, fine dining, steakhouse, po-boy shop, sandwich, appetizer, Italian, Mexican cuisine, pizza, burger, Thai, Chinese, oyster bar, atmosphere, and off-the-beaten-path restaurant.

SUMMARY: Julia Lopez Ramirez, a golfer from Mississippi State University, has been nominated for two prestigious collegiate awards following her second consecutive SEC Player of the Year honor. She is in the running for the ANNIKA Award, given to the top female collegiate golfer nationwide, and the WGCA Player of the Year Award. Ramirez has consistently performed with an average score of 68.4 and won the SEC Individual Championship. Additionally, Charlie Ewing, the coach of MSU's women's golf team, has been nominated for the WGCA Jackie Steinmann Coach of the Year Award amidst the team's historic season, which includes an SEC Championship win and an upcoming competition for an NCAA Championship.
