One arrested, two sought in West Point home invasion
SUMMARY: An elderly man in West Point was injured during a violent home invasion. One suspect has been arrested, but the police are still searching for two others. The incident occurred early Monday morning in the Oakridge Loop Community. The victim woke up to footsteps in his home and discovered a man in his bedroom with a gun. The suspect, Jared Walker, demanded money from the victim and assaulted him when he found out there was none. Walker was later arrested after going to another home to use the phone. He has been charged with various crimes and given a $600,000 bond by a judge.

Ten Years Later: Winston County Hospital rebuilt following 2014 deadly tornado
