SUMMARY: Brandon leaders in the state of Florida are excited about a new multi-million dollar development called The Heights of Brandon. The project will feature an 82-room boutique hotel, 92 loft apartments, retail and office space, and is estimated to cost around $45 million to build. State, county, and city leaders gathered at the site for the reveal of the development, which is expected to bring restaurants, retail, and residential opportunities to the area. Local and state governments are assisting with construction costs, and developers believe the economic impact of the project could exceed $100 million over the next ten years. Construction is set to begin in January and will take approximately 18 months to complete.

Crews are clearing debris to replace infrastructure. The recovery process has been lengthy, but they are hopeful to soon have everyone back up and running. Thanks to contract crews and linemen for their hard work. Crews will be working into the night to restore power.
