Pearl Downtown Plan
SUMMARY: The city of Pearl in Mississippi is in the process of developing its own downtown area, called Midtown. The plan includes creating a space where residents can park their cars and walk to various shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and even a theater. The city has partnered with the Mississippi Main Street Association to help with the downtown development. The Midtown area will span from Pearson Road to Beadyman Road up Highway 80, back to Old Brandon Road near City Hall. Travel center and casino expected to open later this year in Winston County
SUMMARY: A new Travel Center with a casino is set to open in Winston County, becoming the only casino in the Golden Triangle area. The Crystal Sky Trava Plaza will feature 150 slot machines, a Sportsbook Lounge, bar, and restaurant in an 18,000 square foot space.
