Murder suspect arrested after throwing contraband over Leake County prison
SUMMARY: A murder suspect, Brandon Pugh, has been arrested after throwing contraband over a fence at a Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) prison. Pugh is accused of fatally shooting a 14-year-old Hinds County resident in a drive-by shooting. He was identified through surveillance video at the MDOC prison. Pugh is also facing charges for firing into a home and attempting to smuggle contraband into the prison facility. Two women accomplices were also arrested, one of whom is a convicted felon. The arrest was made by U.S. Marshals who stormed a residence in Jackson.
