Moss Point residents protecting their property from severe weather
SUMMARY: After a damaging EF-2 tornado hit the city, homeowners are taking measures to protect themselves and their homes from the rain. Many have placed blue tarps on and around their houses, but some places are still leaking water. Willie Steele, a homeowner, describes how the last month's tornado caused major damages to his roof and garage ceiling. Despite the damage, homeowners like Steele are doing whatever they can to keep their homes dry and get back on their feet. However, the blue tarps are not providing complete protection, and water is still getting in some places.
Several Moss Point residents are working hard to protect their property from storms following the damage left behind after the EF-2 tornado in June.

The project is set to be completed in the next two to three weeks and is located just outside of Bay St Louis, south of the Wolf River.
