More than a dozen Long Beach businesses are in need of workers
SUMMARY: Many businesses, including Jerry's Lawnmower Sales and Service Incorporated in Long Beach, have been struggling to find employees for almost three years. The owner, John Favre, says there aren't enough workers to fix lawnmowers, and the COVID-19 pandemic has put them in a bind. They haven't been fully staffed since then, and the worker shortage has made it difficult to keep their businesses going. However, more than a dozen businesses in Long Beach are banding together to find employees and help each other out. Favre is hopeful that they will be able to overcome the challenges and continue serving their customers.
Two of those businesses are Jerry's Lawnmower Sales and Service Inc., and the Harbor View Cafe.
