Mooreville rallies behind high school student-athlete fighting cancer

SUMMARY: The community of Mooreville, Mississippi is coming together to Sadie Downs, a high school student-athlete who is battling stomach cancer. A prayer rally was held at the high school football field, and ribbons have been displayed around the school to show support for Downs. Despite her illness, Downs has remained positive and has been an encouragement to her classmates. Shirts with her favorite Bible verse have been made to raise funds for her . A GoFundMe page has also been set up, raising over $12,000. The community is showing its love and support for Downs during this difficult time.
