SUMMARY: An 18-wheeler crash on Interstate 59 South near the Evelyn Gandy exit has caused major delays, with one lane closed as emergency crews respond. The driver of the 18-wheeler, identified as 21-year-old Khalil Griffith, died in the crash. The North Forest volunteer fire department responded to the scene where smoke was seen coming out of the cab of the truck. Traffic has been stalled for hours as crews work to clear the scene.
