Approximately 30 emergency responders from the cities of Jackson and Ridgeland as well as those from Hinds and Madison counties met Friday at the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency headquarters in Pearl for what was called a “Multijurisdictional Tabletop Exercise ” in preparing for potentially hazardous events.
“We do these year round — it is a good walk-through for all the agencies,” said MEMA Executive Director Stephan McCraney. “At MEMA our main job is coordination.”
