Man wanted for attempting to hit Crystal Springs police with car
SUMMARY: Crystal Springs police are looking for 20-year-old Demarionta' Wilson, who allegedly tried to hit officers with his vehicle before fleeing during a traffic stop on April 13. Wilson is wanted for two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and felony fleeing. He is believed to be residing in Jackson. The incident resulted in a crash at the intersection of West Railroad Avenue and North Pat Harrison Drive, injuring one officer who was later released from the hospital. Vehicle overturns on I-20 West in Jackson
SUMMARY: An overturned vehicle on Interstate 20 West in Jackson on April 29 caused traffic backup. One person was thrown from the vehicle and the second was trapped inside. A witness helped pull one person out of the car. Emergency responders, including the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Jackson police, firefighters, and AMR, arrived at the scene. State Senate confirms newest members on IHL Board of Trustees
