Lowndes County School District sticks to regular scheduling
SUMMARY: Assistant Principal Lori Cargile from New Hope School in Mississippi discusses the decision to close the school for a week due to safety concerns from bad weather. Although students did not have virtual learning during this time, the teachers were prepared to make up for lost instructional time when classes resumed. The school's academic calendar remained unaffected, and students were happy to be back in class. The principal and district sent out information to parents regarding the situation.
