Lottery Makes July Transfer of $13,416,211 to State
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Lottery Corporation has transferred $13,416,211.36 in net proceeds to the Lottery Proceeds Fund in the Mississippi State Treasury. This is the first deposit for Fiscal Year 2024, which began on July 1, 2023. In the previous fiscal year, the lottery transferred over $122 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund. The funds are allocated for Mississippi Department of Transportation projects and the Education Enhancement Fund. These numbers are subject to an annual financial audit.
