Former Gautier football star joining CFL’s Toronto Argonauts

Cold Case: Hurricane Katrina victim identified nearly two decades later
SUMMARY: Hurricane Katrina had a devastating impact on the Gulf Coast, with many lives lost and families torn apart. One family finally received closure this week after DNA testing identified their missing loved one, Tonette Jackson, nearly two decades after she disappeared. Her husband had desperately searched for her after the storm, but her body was only recently positively identified. Through forensic investigations and genetic genealogy research, Tonette's name was added to the list of victims on the Katrina Memorial. While her family still mourns her loss, they can now find comfort knowing she is at peace.
In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina forever changed the lives of those on the Gulf Coast.

Coast Coliseum buying nearby homes to expand parking
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is planning to expand parking, which will require the demolition of the Oakmont Place neighborhood. Residents are not happy about losing their homes, but the Coliseum sees it as a necessary development. The Pops Ferry Road Extension will also impact the neighborhood.
