How gas prices have changed in Mississippi in the last week
SUMMARY: Gas prices remain low compared to last year due to decreased demand and an increasing domestic inventory, as noted by AAA's Andrew Gross. Analysts predict economic uncertainty may further suppress demand this summer. The U.S. gasoline supply unexpectedly grew by over 3 million barrels in early June, with states like California, Nevada, Alaska, and Illinois experiencing the largest drops in prices. In Mississippi, gas prices stand at $2.94 per gallon, with significant decreases over the past week and year. Mississippi has the cheapest gas in the country, followed by Arkansas and Oklahoma.
