Hancock Co. Sand Beach team ahead of the curve on hurricane preparations

The small but determined Hancock County Sand Beach Crew works year-round to maintain 10 miles of sandy shoreline, facing challenges such as sand shifting over roads during storms. Since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the crew has grown and maintained the area, facing higher tides than neighboring counties.
