Editorial: Donate to charities if you can
SUMMARY: This holiday season, Mississippians are encouraged to step up and donate to those in need. Not everyone can afford gifts or a decent holiday meal, so it's important to give to those less fortunate. Whether it's helping children with struggling parents, feeding those in need, or providing gift baskets for soldiers serving overseas, there are many opportunities to give back. To ensure your donations are used wisely, the Secretary of State provides a fact-checked list of charities on their website. It's a time to reflect on blessings and help neighbors in need, so consider donating to make a positive impact in the community.
