Union softball takes down East Union in game 1 of North half series

SUMMARY: In a softball game between Union and East Union, pitcher Lucy Cochran had a strong performance with three consecutive strikeouts in the top of the fifth inning. However, in the top of the sixth, Elany Wheeler hit a solo home run for Union, giving them a 3-1 lead. Union went on to win the game with a final score of 3-1. In other games, Manachi defeated Casu 3-2, ITA defeated West Lauderdale, and Corinth won 7-1 against Lefic. Overall, it was a successful night for Union and the other winning teams.

The Union softball team beat East Union in game one of the north half championship series.
