Columbus police make 2 more arrests in downtown assault

SUMMARY: In Columbus, Mississippi, Peyton Buckner, Robert , and Brody Kizer are now in custody on charges of aggravated assault related to a altercation that two people, one seriously. The victims had confronted a group for vandalizing decorations which escalated into a fight. The suspects turned themselves in; no weapons were used. The father of the seriously injured, Detrich Jefferson, expressed complex emotions during the suspects' charging. The police chief clarified the incident was not a hate . Bonds were set at $150,000 per as the search continues for three more individuals involved.
