Class Act with Grant: November Teacher of the Month

SUMMARY: David Huffman, a construction technology teacher at Gulfport High School in south Mississippi, is being recognized as this month's Class Act. With 11 years of teaching experience, Huffman uses his lessons from his time in the Air Force to inspire and educate students in his construction shop. His goal is to teach students to do good work with their hands and develop problem-solving skills. Huffman has been honored with awards and is grateful for the support of his wife. He finds fulfillment in the lasting connections he forms with his students. As the year comes to a close, the Class Act series looks forward to featuring more remarkable individuals in 2023.

Gulfport High School's Mr. Gerald Huffman is recognized as Huntington Learning Center's Teacher of the Month.
