Charge downgraded for 2nd teen charged in death of 14-year-old in Jackson

Maxle Mooneyham, 16, is now charged with tampering with evidence instead of murder, and Siyaski Crawford, 15, is now charged as an accessory after the fact to murder instead of murder. John Foote, 17, remains charged with murder. The victim, Cameron Horne-Crook, was shot and killed in March. Mooneyham and Crawford admitted to moving Horne-Crook's body after the shooting. The court set bonds for Mooneyham and Crawford at $100,000 and $75,000, respectively. Horne-Crook's older brother was also killed in a separate shooting incident.
