Booneville man pleads guilty to federal drug charge

SUMMARY: A man from Booneville, Mississippi, named Justin Williams has been to 15 years in prison on federal drug charges. Williams pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine. He was part of a large-scale drug trafficking organization and arranged for meth to be shipped to Mississippi using commercial delivery services. Williams would then distribute the throughout the northern district of Mississippi. The investigation into the case lasted over a year and Williams was one of 16 people indicted. He is also required to pay a $10,000 fine and forfeit over $100,000 and jewelry.
