Deputies work to solve murder of Pelahatchie man

SUMMARY: Kenneth Lee Shoemaker of Pelahatchie was assaulted on October 30, 2023, and died from his injuries on December 7, 2023. Rankin County deputies are searching for the involved in his , with his last known whereabouts being tracked to the area of Highway 43 north of Pelahatchie. Bond has been denied for the former officer charged with Shoemaker's murder.
