What to know about Mississippi’s Presidential Primary
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Presidential Primary Election is one week away on March 12. The ballot includes offices of President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Representative. Voters can use the My Election Day portal to access tailored election information. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. can cast a ballot. In-person absentee voting deadline is March 9, mail-in absentee ballots must be postmarked by March 12 and received by March 19. Voters must present photo ID at the polls. Campaigning within 150 feet of a polling place is prohibited. Call the Elections Division for questions.
