Macon police arrest man for allegedly attacking elderly man
SUMMARY: An elderly man from Macon was attacked by a young man on Washington Street. The victim was hit on the left side of his face and head, causing him to fall to the ground. Bystanders rushed to help him and he was taken to Noxubee General Hospital before being transferred to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo due to the severity of his head injury. The attacker, Jerome Brooks, was arrested and charged with felonious infliction of physical pain or injury on a vulnerable person. His bond is set at $10,000. MDOT receives $4.8 million to improve hurricane evacuation routes

Mississippi Comic Con returns for 10th anniversary

Ole Miss fraternity removes student following racial gestures during protests
