Nonprofit hosts fundraiser honoring former NEMCC police chief

SUMMARY: A Boonville nonprofit, Domino Effect, is hosting a fundraiser in memory of former campus chief Chief Anthony Anderson, who passed away earlier this year. The fundraiser will be the first Chief Anthony Anderson Enforcement versus Fire Allstar Memorial softball , for October as part of the Boonville Main Street Association Fall . The will take place at the Northeast Mississippi Community College Lady Tigers softball field. 20% of the funds raised will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, with the remaining money going towards spreading acts of kindness across Northeast Mississippi. Anderson passed away after collapsing during a basketball game in March.

A softball game will be held in memory of late NEMCC police chief Anthony Anderson.
