Leader of Mississippi Hospital Association fired by board
SUMMARY: The leader of the Mississippi Hospital Association, Tim Moore, has been fired by the association's board. This decision came shortly after Governor Tate Reeves announced a plan to save rural hospitals in the state. Moore had been in his role for over a decade, but his last day was September 22. He will serve in a different position until November 30 to help with the transition. The Mississippi Hospital Association will now begin searching for a new President and CEO. Previously, several hospitals had cut ties with the association following a controversial political donation.
