Rotary Club of Meridian learns more about Mississippi Pre-K Tax Credit

MHP searches for suspect who fled traffic stop
SUMMARY: 16 WAPT's Michaila Franklin reported on a manhunt where the suspect remains at large. On Wednesday, the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) conducted an extensive search along Raymond Road using K-9 units and a helicopter across parts of West and South Jackson. The manhunt began during a traffic stop at a checkpoint when troopers identified 28-year-old James Anthony Tyrun Hall, who had outstanding warrants for robbery and car theft. Hall exited his car and fled, prompting the intensive search.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol spent Wednesday morning searching for a driver who fled a traffic stop.

Jones County Sheriff's Department investigating shots fired around apartment complex
