Superior Optical Lab in Ocean Springs to hold Veterans event this week
SUMMARY: Superior Optical Lab in Ocean Springs is hosting an event this Friday—just before Memorial Day weekend—to honor veterans. The event will feature a giveaway of free reading glasses and a hot dog lunch. CEO Derek Bodard, a Navy veteran, stated that the lab primarily makes glasses for VA hospitals and tries to support veterans through employment and community events. American Legion members will be cooking hot dogs, and tours of the lab will be offered.
