Jsu Home Game Security
SUMMARY: Law enforcement officials are increasing their presence around a stadium in response to car break-ins that occurred last year. Jackson State fans are excited for their first home football game and safety is a top priority for both fans and people in Jackson. Last year, there were car break-ins on Peachtree Street behind Murrah High School during a game, but this year additional security measures have been implemented. State and local agencies are working together to ensure safety, including the Jackson Police Department and Mississippi Highway Patrol who will assist with traffic flow. Valuables should be kept out of sight in vehicles to prevent theft.
