A ceremony at the Elvis Presley birthplace Museum in Tupelo honored fallen officers from Northeast Mississippi. Chief Deputy Bob Poe spoke at the event, acknowledging the dangers of the job and the sacrifices officers make. Family members and fellow officers gathered to remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty, from recent years to as far back as 1947. Each name and face serves as a reminder of the importance of their work and the impact they can have on others.

Monday kicks off National Fallen Police Officers Week, a time for family, friends and fellow law enforcement officers to remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
