Hinds County juvenile detainee captured in Yazoo City

SUMMARY: One of the three juvenile detainees who escaped from the Henley-Young-Patton Juvenile Justice Center in , Mississippi has been captured. 16-year-old Robert Earl Smith, Jr. was at a home in Yazoo by Hinds County deputies and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. The other two escapees, Tayshon Holmes and Jason Jones, are still at large. The escape occurred during a fight at the justice center where multiple people were stabbed. The Hinds County Sheriff's Office is working with other county to determine the cause of the incident. Information on the whereabouts of the escapees can be reported to the sheriff's office.
