2023 Mississippi high school softball champions crowned
The 2023 high school softball season has reached an end in Mississippi with six teams being crowned champions.
Below is the final score for each classification's championship game.
Class 1A:
Hamilton 9, Sebastapol 2.
The Lady Lions took home the state trophy courtesy of a dominant offensive performance highlighted by nine runs off of eight hits.
Class 2A:
East Union 3, Loyd Star 1.

SUMMARY: Mississippi State baseball defeated Vanderbilt 8-7 in game three to clinch the series. Despite Vanderbilt tying the game with six runs in the sixth inning and taking the lead in the seventh, Mississippi State rallied in the ninth with a two-run homer by Hunter Hines. Pitcher Tyson Hardin closed out the game with a scoreless ninth inning. The win improved Mississippi State's SEC record to 12-9.
