Boomtown Casino has been busy renovating and adding a new restaurant. They're officially open and ready to serve guests.

The new BT offers a menu with chicken wings tossed in their new boomin' sauces or their signature Boom Burger.

If you are craving a classic favorite, you can order a meat lovers pizza or customize it to your liking.

Along with the new BT Grill, the Pho Boy Asian Fusion Restaurant is now open in a newly renovated location next to Stadium Bar and Grill where customers can enjoy views of the Biloxi Bay.

Moss Point student pilots cruising the skies

SUMMARY: High in Mississippi are taking flight lessons through the school district's aviation academy. The students are currently working with Aspire Aviation at Trent Lott International Airport, learning how to pilot small airplanes. They have already passed their written FAA flight exam and are now undergoing flight instruction. The goal is for them to obtain their private pilot license and be able to fly on their own. The students, James Spain II and Linal Tickles Jr., hope to inspire others in the Moss Point school system to pursue a career in aviation and contribute to the local .

United Methodists repeal longstanding ban on LGBTQ clergy

This change removes the rule forbidding “self-avowed practicing homosexuals” from being ordained or appointed as ministers. The change does not mandate or explicitly affirm LGBTQ clergy, but it means the church no longer forbids them. Additionally, a measure was approved that forbids penalizing clergy for performing or refraining from same-sex weddings.
