Northern Mississippi:

Mostly cloudy skies will be seen throughout the majority of the northern portion of with temperatures expected to sit in the upper 70s. As night falls, showers and thunderstorms will progress into the night as temperatures drop to the lower 60s.

Central Mississippi:

Weather in central Mississippi is expected to be mostly cloudy throughout the day with temperatures likely to stay in the lower 80s. Rain and thunderstorms will likely in the afternoon and follow into the evening. When the sun sets, the temperatures will lower to the upper 60s with showers to continue throughout the night.

Mississippi lawmakers running out of time to pass Medicaid expansion
