11 suspects arrested following major drug bust in Florence

SUMMARY: Eleven suspects were in metro after a major Florence drug bust targeting fentanyl sales, increased overdose reports. The Rankin County Sheriff's Department detained five adults and six juveniles. Adult arrestees include Pedro Martinez Garcia facing a fentanyl sale charge, Jose Resendiz charged with selling cocaine near a park, Richard Bryant and William Vinzant for meth-related charges, and Vincent Edwards for cocaine conspiracy charges plus possession of a stolen shotgun. Juvenile identities remain undisclosed. Garcia had a prior bond for drug offenses, Resendiz is a sex offender, and Vinzant awaits sentencing for multiple drug charges.
